Abstract [en]

Integrated marketing communication (IMC) process have become popular among marketers at recent times as it provides marketers the option of using different promotionsl tools to attract consumers rather than only using advertising. Therefore in the present world, advertising agencies have become an important player of the marketing communication process as they are the one who can provide continuous support to the marketers to showcase their massage to the target audience in the most effective and affordable ways. This study based on secondary data from advertising agencies of Bangladesh portrays the different roles of the advertising agencies. The study also specifies the importance of client-agency relationship to launch a successful IMC campaign by  an advertising agency on behalf of a marketer. Lastly theis study also depicts the present advertising industry scenarion and opportuities in Bangladesh.
