Abstract [en]

The A-weighted sound pressure level inside protective helmets of motorcycle riders is unacceptably high at high cruising speeds. There are no available motorcycle helmet on the market giving reasonable protection against noise. The best helmet is the one fitting the head best. Apart from the fitting, which will vary form person to person, all helmets seem to be rather equivalent.
