Abstract [en]

The project is aimed at determining the rock mechanical consequences of a fire in a tunnel. Several different factors influence the behaviour of the rock, both during and after a fire. The heating rate and heating effect of the fire are important factors, as well as the mineral composition of the rock. In this study the focus is to determine how the mechanical properties of the rock are affected by increasing temperature.
