Abstract [en]

The Nordic Region – leading in green growth” was the Nordic prime ministers’ green growth initiative under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers – a vision based on the joint utilisation of Nordic strengths in a number of areas including:

- Bioeconomy

- Waste treatment

- Energy efficiency

- Fossil fuel subsidy reform

- Investment in innovation and research

Working together in these areas, the Nordic Region will carry more weight, earn a bigger market share, and make more of a political impact on an international level. This folder presents the main results from the prime ministers’ green growth initiative.
