Abstract [sv]

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka huruvida en ökad investering och prestation inom corporate social responsibility (CSR) kan leda till ett minskat avkastningskrav från investerare, samt om detta samband skiljer sig mellan branscher, baserat på 49 företag noterade på Nasdaq OMX Stockholm. Genom användandet av modellbaserade vinstprognoser uppskattas utifrån tre modeller det genomsnittliga implied cost of capital (ICC, avkastningskrav). Det resultat som framkommer pekar på att företag vilka presterar bättre inom CSR sänker sitt avkastningskrav, och därmed förbättrar sin finansiella prestation. Dock framkommer inget tydligt resultat gällande huruvida branscher påverkar sambandet.
