Abstract [sv]

Denna rapport behandlar utvecklingen av en webbapplikation och syftar till att besvara frågeställningen ”Hur ska en webbapplikation, som erbjuder en marknadsplats för att boka händelser utförda av amatörartister och privatpersoner, utformas för att göra den användbar?” Arbetet inleddes med en teoriframtagning vilken implementationen sedan baserades på. Rapporten innefattar delar som diskuterar användarvanor av webbapplikationer, utveckling inom den agila arbetsmetodiken Scrum såväl som tekniska aspekter såsom struktur, databashantering och design. Resultatet blev en fungerande webbapplikation med en väl uppskattad design som låg i linje med flera aspekter av den framtagna teorin. Slutsatsen var att många av de implementerade funktionerna bidrar till en användbar webbapplikation som främjar köpvillighet hos användarna.

Abstract [en]

This report covers the development of a web application which aims to answer the question “How shall a web application that offers a market for buying happenings, performed by amateur performers, be designed to make it usable?”. The process was started by researching relevant theory, this theory was the basis of the implementation which commenced subsequently. The report includes chapters on user habits on web application, development with the agile software development framework Scrum as well as technical aspects such as structure, database and design. The result was a functional web application with a well-regarded design that was in tune with several aspects of the compiled theory. Lastly the conclusion of the report is that several of the implemented aspects of the web application further helps to attain a user-friendly web application which fosters a willingness to purchase.
