Abstract [sv]

Titel: ’Mycket snack och lite verkstad’ – En kvalitativ studie om kunskapsöverföring i en organisation.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att skapa förståelse för kunskapsöverföringsprocessen från en individ till en organisation och de organisatoriska hinder för kunskapsöverföring som kan finnas efter en avslutad kompetensutvecklingsinsats.

Metod: Studien hade en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi med en abduktiv ansats. Forskningsdesignen var en fallstudie där fallet som studerades var hur en organisation tar tillvara på den kunskap som individer fått efter en avslutad specialistutbildning. Insamlingsmetoden för det empiriska underlaget var kvalitativa intervjuer och materialet har tolkats med ett hermeneutiskt synsätt.

Slutsats: Studiens resultat har gett en ökad förståelse över vilka hinder för kunskapsöverföring som kan finnas i en organisation och framförallt ledningens betydelse för att skapa en organisationskultur och en organisationsstruktur som främjar kunskap och kunskapsöverföringsprocesser i organisationen.

Abstract [en]

Title: ‘Lots of talking and less action’ – A qualitative study of knowledge transfer in an organization. 

Purpose: The aim of the study was to create an understanding of the process of knowledge transfer from an individual to an organization and of the organizational obstacles for knowledge transfer which can be found after a completed investment for employee development.

Method: The used method was a qualitative research strategy with an abductive approach. The design of the research has been a case study in which the case involved how an organization uses the knowledge that individuals received after the completion of a specialist education. The data collection was done through qualitative interviews and the material has been interpreted with a hermeneutic approach.

Conclusion: Through our questions of research we gained an understanding of the obstacles for knowledge transfer in an organization and the importance of management when creating a supporting environment for knowledge and knowledge transfer processes.
