Abstract [en]

In this work it has been shown experimentally that it is possible to create a high pressure with an open resonator in air. Pressure levels and their positions inside the resonator were studied and documented in order to describe the behaviour of the resonator. Parameters of particular interest are the resonant frequencies of the reflecting plates and their deflection shapes, which depends on their geometric form.
