Abstract [en]

This Master thesis report describes how hearing protectors can give higher attentuation to low-frequency noise when using electronic filter and active noise cancelling technique. The method described is a feedback coupling by a digital or analog filter. The filterdesign and possibility to adjust the filtercoefficients to the inividual who is supposed to wear the active headsets are discussed. The properties that the transduers in the headsets ought to have are described.
