Abstract [sv]

I detta kandidatarbete skapas en animation för att visualisera användarinstruktioner för en balpress. Förberedelser utförs i 3D-CADprogramvaran Geomagic Design 2014 innan arbetet med animeringen påbörjas i programmet SimLab Composer Animation. I förberedelserna rensas modellerna och modifieras. Modeller som saknas skapas. I detta förslag på visualisering av ett moment i användning av balpressen är i syfte att underlätta för brukaren hur den snabbt kan använda maskinen. Användarens perspektiv sätts i fokus hur den kan tänkas betrakta och uppfatta maskinen genom instruktionerna i animeringen. Genom utförd tekniksökning belyses behov och utveckling inom området komprimering genom balpressar. Aktuell forskning inom 3D-animering presenteras genom pågående samarbeten mellan studenter och företag. Inom arbetet föreslås förslag på produktförbättringar. / This Bachelor Thesis is a creation of an animation to visualize user instructions for a baler. Preparation of the 3D-models is performed in Geomagic Design 2014 before import into the program SimLab Composer Animation. Minimization of the 3D-models is required by sorting out unnecessary geometry. Additional work was made to create new models needed. This work is a suggestion on how to make an easy and quick start-up. An attempt to make an overall picture and understanding of how the user may perceive and comprehend the instructions in the animation. Through an accomplished technology search the needs and the developments in the field of compression in balers is highlighted. Current research in 3D animation is presented through ongoing collaborations between students and companies. In this work there are proposed suggestions for product improvements.
