Support Wheel for CSR : A Framework for CSR Management (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze how companies, successful in Corporate Social Responsibility in Sweden, have designed this work. From this information a framework will be created that contains management tools and techniques, in order to simplify other companies’ work and management of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Methodology: We have conducted an interview study that includes five successful companies in Corporate Sociale Responsibiliy. The theories in this study were compiled through books and academic journals. The empirical data has primarily been collected through semi-structured interviews and telephone interviews.

Conclusions and recommendation: The findings suggest that the main reason for the researched companies to engage in Corporate Social Responsibility is economic enhancement. The management of stakeholders is the main key to achieve this goal. The framework contains tools and techniques suitable for companies’ decision making, operations management and adaptation of activities related to Corporate Social Responsibility.
