Den här rapporten redogör för det examensarbete som utfördes på Cargotec ABs

utvecklingslaboratorium i Hudiksvall våren 2012. Cargotec AB är en världsledande leverantör

av lasthanteringslösningar för lokal transport, terminaler, hamnar, distributionscenter och

fartyg. I Hudiksvall tillverkas lastbilskranar för hantering av timmer och styckegods.

Hudrauliska ventiler utgör en viktig del av de system de ingår i och deras egenskaper, både

statiska och dynamiska, har en enorm betydelse för systemet som helhet. Det är därför viktigt

att kunna identifiera egenskaperna hos de ventiler som används. För att tillgodose detta behov

finns en provkrets för ventiler på Cargotecs utvecklingslaboratorium i Hudiksvall. Provkretsens

styrsytem var baserat på teknik från 1980-talet som inte uppfyllde de önskemål som fanns och

var dessutom i stort behov av renovering.

Förutom önskemål om utökad funktionalitet fanns även hårda krav på styrsystemets

noggrannhet.

Under examensarbetet har ett nytt styrsystem utvecklats och installerats till provkretsen. Bytet

av styrsystem omfattade både hård- och mjukvara. En simuleringsmodell av provkretsen

utvecklades för att möjliggöra enkel vidareutveckling av styrsystemet.

Det system som utvecklades är tillräckligt kraftfullt för att tillgodose samtliga önskemål som

fanns. Det har även god potential att tillgodose framtida behov.

Abstract [en]

This report presents the master's thesis performed at Cargotec Ltd's development laboratory in

Hudiksvall, Sweden during the spring of 2012. Cargotec Ltd is a world leading manufacturer of

cargo handling solutions for local transport, terminals, ports, distribution centers and ships. In

Hudiksvall Cargotec manufactures truck cranes for handling timber and other cargo.

Hydraulic valves constitute an important part of the system they are incorporated in and their

properties, both static and dynamic, have a great impact on the system as a whole. Therefore it is

important to be able to identify the properties of the valves used. To meet this need there was a

test circuit for hydraulic valves at Cargotec's development laboratory in Hudiksvall. The test

circuits control system was built on technology from the 1980:ies that did not meet the current

demands on functionality. Furthermore the control system was in great need of restoration.

Apart from the demands on increased functionality there were also requirements on the systems

control performance.

A new control system was developed and installed during the thesis. The upgrade of the control

system included both hardware and software. Also a simulation model of the test circuit was

derived in order to provide a convenient way of further enhancing the control algortihms.

The system developed during this theses was powerful enough to not only meet the current

requirements but also to be a great support in developing the next generation of cargo handling solutions.
