Abstract [en]

The article gives the history of Swedish translations of the povest “Metel´” and on the whole of the prosaic works of Pushkin. It describes the state of affairs in Sweden for translation of Russian literature, especially in the post war years. It is done an analysis of the Swedish translation of “Metel´” with the help of concepts of different scholars – the Russian linguist Viktor Vinogradov, the German literary scholar Wolf Schmid, and the French theorist of translation Antoine Berman.
