Application of Distributed Acoustic Sensing to Flow Regime Classification
The objective of the thesis proposed is to investigate the potential of DAS
(Distributed Acoustic Sensing) for flow regime classification. A relatively
simple and cost effective experiment has been conducted in this study.
Using the results from the experiments, several artificial neural networks has
been created to recognize the pattern in the one third octave band data. The
results has shown a neural network is a promising tool which serves the purpose
of this study.
