Software Engineering Game: Software Engineering Game
The goal of this paper is to explore and evaluate the utility of different strategies used in educational games. These strategies include creating immersion and promote learning through visual gratification, feedback, scoring, reasoning, and cognitively demanding environments.
A game prototype, based on the tactics and strategies outlined in the literature study, has been implemented and is subject for testing on students. The tests aims to determine how well different strategies would do in an actual implementation of a game.
