Pressure Fluctuations in Steady State Two-Phase Flow in Porous Media
Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, Department of Physics.
2013 (English)MasteroppgaveStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

Several aspects of two-phase flow in porous are examined numerically. The burst size distributions in both the invasion phase and steady state are computed; above a threshold, the steady state distribution is found to be distributed according to a power law with exponent α = 2±0.1. Spatial correlation and autocorrelation is investigated.
