Abstract [sv]

Vid utveckling av luckor till mikrovågsugnar behöver mätningar göras över ett visst frekvensområde, för att kunna bestämma luckans karaktäristik. Målet med det här examensarbetet var att ta fram en lämplig antenn för att mäta mikrovågsläckage i frekvensomr ådet 2,35-2,60 GHz. Antennen ska anslutas till ett bentligt mätsystem för mikrovågseekt. De antenner som utvärderas är dels kommersiella antenner med linj är polarisation och dels en egendesignad mikrostripantenn med cirkulär polarisation.

I rapporten beskrivs bland annat designprocessen för den egentillverkade antennen och de simuleringsresultat som erhållits. De simuleringsmjukvaror som användes vid designen var Advanced Design System från Agilent och QuickWave-3D från QWED. I slutet redovisas mätresultat för de läckagemätningar som gjordes på en mikrovågsugn vid utv ärderingen.

Abstract [en]

When developing doors to microwave ovens it acquires measurements to be made over a certain frequency range, in order to determine the characteristic for the door. The goal of this thesis work was to nd a suitable antenna in order to measure microwave leakage in the frequency range 2.35-2.60 GHz. The antenna is to be connected to an existing measuring system for microwave power. The antennas that are evaluated are rst, commercial antennas with linear polarization and second, an own design of a microstrip antenna with circular polarization. In the report is described among others, the design process for the microstrip antenna and the simulation results that have been obtained. The simulation softwares that were used for this design were Advanced Design System from Agilent and QuickWave-3D from QWED. In the end of the report, the measuring results are presented for the leakage measurements that were made on a microwave oven during the evaluation.
