Scania är en ledande tillverkare av tunga lastbilar, bussar och industri- och marinmotorer. Inom organisationen finns ett ökande behov av att automatisera och underlätta analysfasen vid klimatsystemprovning. Idag utnyttjas en mängd mjukvaror för att analysera diverse data, men ingen är optimalt anpassad för arbetsuppgifterna inom analys av klimatdata. Uppdraget går därför ut på att utveckla en mjukvara som ska effektivisera arbetet i analysfasen.

Det har använts en mängd metoder under arbetes gång. Det har bland annat använts intervjuer vid insamling av kravspecifikationen. Arbetet har utförts iterativt med veckovisa möten med handledaren och grun-den av programmet har tagits fram med en pappersprototyp. Alla delar har varit avgörande för utvecklingen av mjukvaran och förståelsen för vad kunden vill ha.

Resultatet blev ett program skrivet med arkitekturen Model-View-Controller i programspråket Java. Många krav har tagits med i slutpro-dukten, men en del krav har också fått prioriteras bort för att göra plats åt en grafisk och funktionsrik produkt. Kundens förväntningar var uppnådda efter ha utfört ett acceptanstest på produkten, vilket ledde till ett godkännande av mjukvaran.

Abstract [en]

Scania is one of the leading manufacturer of heavy trucks, busses and industrial and marine engines in the world. Within the organization, there is an increasing need to automate and facilitate the analysis phase in the climate system testing. Today used a variety of software to analyze various data, but none is ideally suited for the task within analysis of climate data. The assignment is therefore based on develop-ing software that will improve the efficiency of the work in the analysis phase.

A variety of methods has been used during the work. Interviews has been used to collect the software requirements. The work has been carried out iteratively with weekly meetings with the supervisor and the foundation of the program has been developed with a paper prototype. All parts have been instrumental in the development of software and the understanding of the customer needs.

The project resulted in a software that uses a Model-Controller-View architecture written in the Java programming language. Many require-ments have been included in the final product, but some requirements have also been prioritized away to make way for a graphic and feature rich product. Customer expectations were achieved after completing an acceptance test of the product, which led to the approval of the software.
