Abstract [en]

We tried to see the scaled window variance and rescaled window variance statistics of the North American, Norwegian and Ethiopian blackouts. Beside we also see the square lattice modelling of blackout distribution. The avalanche process triggered by single bond removal process was modeled by the artificial network of constant conductance. The simulation showed that for larger lattice size the power loss due to conductance change fallows power law while for small lattice size, the power loss fallows Gaussian distribution.
