Converting Feature Film to Animated Film (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This thesis will discuss the method and the problems concerning the conversion of feature film to animated film. Digital effects have been used within film production to manifest phenomena that can not been added in reality, an example is of course flying dragons. Digital Anarchy has recently released the effect application ToonIt, a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro, that has in simple terms put the ability to convert feature film to animated film. Through surreal effects the possibility is there to produce impressions of vast ages in oriental settings without the requirements to invest in tailorsown outfits or recordings in faraway lands. The possibility is even there to produce two-dimensional animated film without going through the procedure of producing twenty four handdrawn or computerdrawn pictures per one second of film.
