Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

Gaining profit is what most companies try to achieve. A factor proven to affect

profit is the employees’ work motivation. From our experience, motivators offered by companies are often predetermined which hinder them from considering what motivates the individual employee. If there are differences in what motivates individuals in their work, research concerning this is crucial. Since previous research regarding what motivates individuals dependent upon demographic aspects are next to absent our research is needed. We considered two demographic aspects – age and educational level – in our research.
