Abstract [sv]

Fler ger mer!

Abstract [en]

Single households dominate the housing supply. But why must we live alone just because we do not have a partner? Both young and older has a positive attitude to a collective housing. Large apartments are available in the market; the problem is they are not designed for a shared accommodation, but rather for a nuclear family. I have sought to design apartments that caters to people who want to live together but who are not necessarily related. The leader of the project has been that if we share certain costly areas of accommodation, such as toilets and kitchens, we can instead give priority to increased floor space and create potential to make another accommodation dynamics and thus achieve a higher quality accommodation. If we can live more together, we can get qualities that small apartments can not give us. More offers more!
