Abstract [en]

iFEST is an EU project aimed at streamlining product development by creating a standalized tool-chain. This work aims to look at how a debug and test tools can integrate with each other. The goal is to provide input for the iFEST project on how such integration should be done. The two products Optima products and Farkle developed by Enea is used for the integration. Similar integration projects are evaluated to find a possible solution to a good design. A basic design forthe integration is made based on Eclipse, previous work and analysis of the tools Optima and Farkle. The design is implemented, and verified with a use case. Use case is about integrating the layers in a file system stack.

iFEST är ett EU-projekt som syftar till att effektivisera produktutveckling genom att skapa en standradiserad verktygskedja. Detta arbete syftar till att titta närmare på hur ett debug-och testverkyg kan integreras med varandra. Målet är att ge input till iFEST-projeket om hur en sådan integration skall göras. Eneas produkter Optima och Farkle används som ett konkret fall. Liknande arbeten utvärderas för att hitta en möjlig lösning på integrationsproblematiken. Med Eclipse, tidigare arbete och analysen av verktygen bas tas en integrationsdesign fram. Designen implementeras och arbetet verifieras med ett användarfall. Användarfallet handlar om att integrera lager i en filsystemsstack.
