Independent thesis Advanced level (degree of Master (Two Years)), 20 credits / 30 HE creditsStudent thesis
This project work is focused on the economic and feasibility study for small and medium scale renewable energies available in Rwanda to determine the requirements in terms of infrastructure, policy and demonstrating interesting potentials of off and on grid connected renewable energy by analyzing them referring to technical and economic feasibility criteria.
In addition, this survey data will help to understand how the energy projects will be implemented through private and public partnerships identifying the potential for improving efficiency by enhancing the awareness of existing renewable energy use and minimising the electricity consumption.
Finally, this project shows also the master plan of future energy development activities that will boost the energy sector and the country for economic growth and sustainable access to renewable energy resources.
