Abstract [en]

This study investigates the concepts of informal influence and learner autonomy. Some pupils who studies Spanish in a Swedish school have been interviewed about their thoughts concerning their influence on learning.The results indicate that most students like to influence the activities and they are able to propose on how to put them into action. Also, there are pupils who want to trust the responsibility to the teacher. However, most students find that the influence is important for their learning.While talking about the influence, without realizing it, the pupils let us know that their opinions relate to aspects of learner autonomy: taking responsibility for their learning, from planning to realization. Nevertheless, none of the students mention self-assessment in learning, wich is an important aspect for learner autonomy.
