Abstract [sv]

Datorstöd i matematikundervisning och matematiklärande – att simulera och modellera i problemlösning, handlar om vilka förmågor som kan utvecklas och vilka kursmål i matematik som kan realiseras i elevernas interaktivitet med programvara för dynamisk geometri. Studien baseras på en lektionsserie som bygger på en problemlösningssituation med GeoGebra som verktyg. Arbetet har en del beröringspunkter med aktionsforskning, men kan närmast definieras som undervisningsförsök. I studien görs ett försök att följa undervisnings- och inlärningsprocessen och reflektera över vad som sker. Undersökningsmetoden har varierat mellan deltagande observation, enkätundersökning och intervjuer. Resultat visar att ett noggrant valt problem och en flexibel lektionsplanering uppmuntrar eleverna att använda sina befintliga kunskaper och ta till sig ny kunskap. Eleverna lär sig nya arbetssätt som simulering och modellering. De får också kunskap om vad en matematisk modell är.

Abstract [en]

Computer aid in teaching mathematics and mathematics learning - simulation and modeling in problem solving is about what abilities can be developed and the course goals in mathematics can be realized in the students' interactivity with software for dynamic geometry. The study is based on a lecture series based on a problem solving situation with GeoGebra as a tool. The work has some similarities with action research, but can best be defined as teaching experiment. The study attempts to follow the teaching-learning process and reflect on what is happening. The survey methodology has varied between participant observation, questionnaire survey and interviews. Results show that a carefully selected problems and a flexible lesson plan encourages students to use their existing skills and absorb new knowledge. Students learn new ways of working as simulation and modeling. They also acquire knowledge of what a mathematical model is.
