The aim of our research is to give firms opportunities to have an overview on how can they implement and adjust their resources and capabilities in order to develop a sustainable competitive advantage in a mature context.
The systematic combining approach has been used to promote a continuous movement between the empirical studies of the case company and the theoretical approach.
As a conclusion we outlined that the firm ability to ensure the uniqueness and the flexibility of its resources and capabilities is essential to manage uncertainties emerging from the external environment.
