Flagging out to Sweden is not common but thespecific circumstances for this trade has made the Swedish ship's register interesting for shipowners. The primary reason for flagging out was said to be currency exposure between theSwedish krona and the Euro, however there are other reasons aswell, for instance the EU banon wet tobacco.
