Abstract [en]

We will focus here on the narratives regarding the Mbombi from the Mashamba and Chimangue villages, the Maluleke focusing on Mapai and Makandezulo villages, and Baloi focusing on the Bingo village. We will relate below the information we have pieced together from interviews on a number of occasions as a single narrative. The genealogies represented here are represented with the permission of our informants. We have decided to relate these narratives ʼas isʻ, that is, we will reserve the discussion and analyses of these accounts in other forums.
