Det finns även oklarheter kring ansvar när det kommer till artificiell intelligens, både generellt och när det kommer till lärare. Om AI skulle ta över som lärare så behöver vi fastställa vem som är ansvarig över dess handlingar. The purpose of this essay is to research artificial intelligence capacity to replace traditional human teachers. Important aspects of artificial intelligence are responsibility, ethics, and humanity. These will be researched in combination with teachers and aspects surrounding them. In addition to this, artificial intelligence that is already a part of education will be presented. Finally, it was determined that artificial intelligence does not have the capacity to replace teachers, yet. There is also a responsibility gap when it comes to artificial intelligence, both in general and in educational contexts. If AI were to take over as teachers, we need to determine who is responsible for its actions. Even if AI is not able to become teachers, it is still possible for it to be part of teaching and education. In some capacity it already is.
