Workers’ attitude to AI in the workplace (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study is to examine whether knowledge about AI correlates with attitudes to AI in the workplace and work-related stress. AI, Artificial intelligence, is a collection of technological innovations that has spread quickly the last couple of years and the goals of which are to create intelligent and dynamic computer programs. A good example is ChatGPT. The authors of this study consider it important to study the effects of AI on workplaces, as this is an area where AI could have potentially significant effects. This study uses a quantitative survey, and online surveys were used. The participants are 77 workers from a wide group of workplaces with a mean age of 41 years. Previous research has shown that increased knowledge of AI can lead to more positive attitudes towards AI and less workplace stress related to AI. This study reached the same conclusion, and all hypotheses are kept.
