Today’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system’s Graphical User Interface (GUI) within SAP:s wide range of products requires great understanding and many years of experience until the end-user is able to comfortably navigate throughout the whole system and utilize its functionality. This introduces several problems within the user-experience field and has to be handled with the utmost respect in order to reduce educational costs, enhance data validity, increase user satisfaction and make it accessible and easy to use for everyone, through various different types of methods used within the User Experience field of studies such as interviews and observations with several companies. The results show that the newly developed SAP Fiori graphical user interface does provide a better user experience. It has all the necessary components available that enhances this experience being relevant, effective and easy to learn. This report will investigate and clarify how well the user experience really works in practice both with the old and newly developed SAP Fiori GUI.
