Librarians in films : An analytical study of stereotypes (English)
Abstract [en]

This paper discusses how librarians are being represented in film. Is it through stereotypes or with a more modern and realistic approach? This is something that is examined by reviewing a number of movies based on various stereotypes as previous research has addressed. This work describes why stereotyping of occupational roles are a problem and therefore examining how well research on the subject is consistent with films from various years and genres.
