Abstract [sv]

Syftet med denna studie är att få en större kunskap kring pedagogers förhållningssätt i arbetet med att ge barnen inflytande i samlingssituationer, men även vilka utmaningar pedagogerna möter. Målgruppen är personalen i ett arbetslag på samma förskola.

För att få fram resultatet till undersökning användes semistrukturerade intervjuer. Det var tre pedagoger i ett arbetslag på en förskola som blev intervjuade, denna låg i en medelstor stad i mellersta Sverige. 

Det resultat som framkom i studien hängde mycket på pedagogernas förhållningsätt och bemötande av barnen. Genom att vara flexibel och nyfiken som pedagog, leder det till att barnen får möjlighet till mer inflytande. Resultatet visade även vissa utmaningar i arbetet med barns inflytande. I denna studie nämns bland annat tidsbrist och kunna se alla individer i en barngrupp.

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study is to get a better knowledge about the educator’s approach towards giving the children a chance to influence the gatherings, but also the challenges that it may bring. The target group is the members of one team of educators at a preschool.

To gather information for the study a semi-structured interview was done, with each member of the team. This team works at preschool located in a medium-sized city in the middle of Sweden.

The results that emerged relied heavily on the educator’s approach and treatments towards the children. By being flexible and curious as an educator, it’ll lead to opportunities for the children to get more influence. The result shows some challenges in the work with children’s influence. One of them is lack of time and another is to take count of every individual in a group of children.
