The society is in constant change, this through relocations and globalization. In recent years, the debate about the extent to which Sweden will receive immigrants has been active. This also affects the school. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to study their cultural approach through qualitative interviews with middle school teachers. The essay deals with six active teachers who teach in middle school social sciences. Interviews have been conducted to examine teachers' prioritized objectives with teaching and their prioritized content in teaching. In order to assess the teachers' intercultural approach, I make a separate definition of the concept through previous research done in the field. The interviewed teachers work at different elementary schools and all work in middle school with social science. The results show that their cultural approach varies widely and may be due to the fact that teachers have difficulty knowing what content should be treated at the middle school.
