Abstract [sv]

Syftet med denna undersökning var att utvärdera fortbildning för yrkesförare, delkurs 1: Sparsam körning. De övergripande frågeställningarna var: Hur har fortbildningarna genomförts? Har kraven i föreskrifterna uppfyllts? och Har eleverna nått de föreskrivna målen i utbildningen? I studien ingick två kvalitativa studier och en kvantitativstudie. De kvalitativa studierna använde sig av naturalistiska observationer och intervjuer.

Sju yrkesutbildningar observerades med hjälp utav en observationsguide. Observatören deltog inte i undervisningen. Intervjuer genomfördes med lärare på de observerade kurserna men även övriga aktörer som på ett eller annat sätt har god kunskap om YKB (Yrkeskompetensbevis) utbildningarna i landet. Den kvantitativa studien bestod av en enkätstudie som 799 personer (90 procent män) besvarade. Respondenterna var i genomsnitt 44 år gamla. De flesta som deltog i enkätstudien körde lastbil och hälften av dem hade tidigare genomgått en utbildning om sparsam körning.

Abstract [en]

The aim of this study was to evaluate periodic training for professional drivers, part 1 Eco-driving. The main objectives were: How has the training been conducted? Have the requirements of the regulations been met? and has the training program provided the participants with enough understanding of the subject? The study included two qualitative studies and one quantitative study. The qualitative studies used naturalistic observations and interviews. Seven vocational training courses were observed with the aid of an observation guide. The observer did not participate in the teaching. Interviews were conducted with instructors on the observed courses but also other actors who have a good knowledge of the training. The quantitative study consisted of a survey that 799 people (90 percent men) answered. Respondents were on average 44 years old. Most of those who participated in the survey were driving a truck.
