Karlstad University.
2017 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The study adopts a qualitative approach and aims to investigate how student teachers want to teach outdoor teaching in the future and how it has been affected by past experiences. This has been done through semi-structured interviews of five students undergoing education at a university in Sweden. The study is supported by the following theoretical basis; the habitus theory and frame factor theory. The results show that students are influenced by their past experiences when they talk about their vision for future teaching. Respondents can rationally reflect on the frame factor theory, and that in the future they wish to pursue a developed outdoor teaching and collaborate with their colleagues.
