Abstract [en]

The modern society heavily relies on a continuous supply of electricity.A continuous and reliable supply of electricity is necessary in orderto maintain a competitive industry and to ensure that necessary socialfunctions works correctly. Reliability analysis on the power system canbe used to provide crucial information about weak spots in the system,with the help of this information better switching and maintenance decisioncan be made which further increases the reliability of the system. Bymaking use of the newly adopted communication strategies in the powergrid, an online reliability analysis has become available, where the topologyof the system can be updated so that the software reflects the currentconfiguration of the system. This thesis builds upon this idea where aparsing tool is developed for the SCL standard, which is used to create anode network that can be used to asses the reliability.

Abstract [sv]

Det moderna samhället är kraftigt beroende av en kontinuerlig tillgångav el. En säker och kontinuerlig elförsörjning är nödvändigt för attupprätthålla en konkurrenskraftig industri samt att se till att nödvändigasamhällsfunktioner fungerar korrekt. Tillförlitlighetsanalys på kraftsystemetkan användas för att identifiera svaga punkter i systemet, medhjälp av information om systemets svaga punkter kan bättre omkopplingoch underhålls beslut kan fattas. Vilket ytterligare ökar tillförlitligheteni systemet. Genom att använda sig av nyligen framtagna kommunikationsstrategieri kraftnätet, kan tillförlitlighetsanalys nu utföras online.Eftersom systemets topologi kan uppdateras online så att programmetspeglar den aktuella konfigurationen av systemet. Denna rapport baseraspå denna idé där ett tolknings verktyget har utvecklat för SCL standarden,som används för att skapa ett nod nätverk som kan används för attbedömma tillförlitligheten i systemet.
