Abstract [en]

Internet is an amazing tool that allows people all around the world to communicate, be entertained, and find information just to name a few. It is also an amazing platform for kick starting entrepreneurial careers. Each day more and more people take the step to realize their dreams and ideas. Much so that there’s an abundance of really talented people doing great things in every possible category, ranging from blogging, movie making, design, music and more. But what factors dictate that some are more popular or successful than the rest? Are there certain steps one can follow to achieve success? By interviewing successful Swedish digital entrepreneurs and observing their online presence we get a valuable insight on what’s important. Things such as transparency, engagement and consistency play a key role. While there is no known formula on how to become viral or popular, there are some helpful steps and strategies that might increase the chances of spreading your brand.
