The purpose of this study was to determine how to developa business strategy for a new industry participants 'social media'. As the industry has become more attractive to new businesses, it may be interesting to study what these companies are all about. And how they work internally and what it needs for resources and capabilities.To find out the answers to the questions studied it a new company that will establish itself in the industry 'Social media'. To get answers to the questions was performed with literature analysis and interviews with respondents in the case study company and outside the company with experts in entrepreneurship, social media, etc.It was noted during the study that there were countless number of different companies in the industry.The results of this study is that companies must establish themselves within this should be wary of information when there are no legal protection to stand behind. What can be done to get such a thing is to market itself significantly in order to get some trademark protection. It is apparently important to be innovative in the industry as it can lead to competitive advantage in the industry.
