To make sure manufacturing companies can continue staying competitive in times where access to low-cost labor increases and with increased competition as a result, the development of new strategies are important for assuring long-term survival. One strategy dealing with these challenges is to integrate products and services, which creates better offers with increased customer value. The purpose of this study is to examine if a manufacturing company, in light of its own circumstances, can achieve full integration between products and services in its offerings. Research purpose for the study has been exploratory and descriptive with a deductive research approach. A qualitative research method has been used in the study, whereas the research strategy used is a single case study. To gather data, the collection method used is group interviews. The study has identified 30 demands that have to be fulfilled to make a full integration between product and services possible. These demands have been compared with current circumstances for a manufacturing company, acting as a case object. The result showed that a full integration between product and services is not possible to achieve under current circumstances for the manufacturing company, however an improvement potential exists in relation to the existing situation. The improvement potential implies that the integration between product and services can be increased for the company, and thereby increase the customer value offered together with increased competiveness.
