Lönsam energiåtervinning: i ett akvaponiskt system

The study examines a combination between cultivation of tilapia and basil using a aquaponic system in a profitable manner recycling excess heat from industrial processes. Purpose has been to find what size of cultivation is required to become profitable and to obtain a estimation if the excess heat from one industrialfactory can be used in such a system. Using a systemsize of 7 500 squaremeters has shown itself to be profitable, smaller systems may show profitable when multiple units are optimized together. The empirical study was carried out using interviews through e-mail and telephone, one visit to a aquaponic experimentfacility and datacollection through different tables and registry. This paper is for a degree in Technology candidate.
