The purpose of this study is to increase understanding of how a knowledge- intensive company designs its belief system in the start-up. The study also aims to investigate in what way the company values are affected of the company's employees and stakeholders. The study was conducted as an case study involving observations and interviews at the premises of an knowledge intence company in the start- up. The results from the study show that common developed core values increase understanding of the company's core values of those employees within an knowledge- intence company. The generated values are affected to some extent on the basis of employees' perceptions of what customers consider important in the start-up phase in a knowledge- intence company. Lastly are the leading people in the company important to lead the company to its values and affect partially the final company values.
