The purpose of this study was to investigate out how a large organization deals with acceptance among users when implementing a new system.To answer this, we performed a case study in a larger organization in which we interviewed five people from three different departments, both users and department managers. We performed an analysis of the collected data and then compared to theory concerning. Then we drew our conclusions based on our analysis.The conclusion of our findings showed that the organization had knowledge of acceptance and the value it could generate in implementing new systems. But despite this it was not used at its full potential in present time. We then came up with a recommendation on how the organization can improve regarding acceptance and how they could improve their current situation. For example by implementing an acceptance model, our recommendation was TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), and then combine that model with reference groups.
