2013 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

The preschool should lay the foundation for lifelong learning and offer a good educational activity. The educational work is the foundation of the preschool. Tempus is the system that the study will focus on. Tempus is a system for scheduling in preschool and after-school. On Tempus website you can read comments from preschool teachers, parents and principals who believe that Tempus gives more time to educational work. The study's purpose was to highlight the potentials the parents and the staff sees in the educational work with the introduction of Tempus. The study was a questionnaire- and interview study among educators, parents, and one school principal. The questions in the interview and questionnaires were based on the possibilities and limitations the various informants saw with the Tempussystem. The conclusion of the study show that users of Tempus think it is easy to use and takes little time. This gives teachers more time to the educational work in preschool. The study shows, however, certain areas of development for the system.
