This essay is a study of secondary school students ' varying requirements on the subject of dance technique 1. The study is based on qualitative interviews with dance teacher who teaches this subject to aesthetic high school and secondary school pupils focus dance and dance technique on the schedule. The study includes observations on dance lessons during my business located training VFU. The literature emphasize the importance of all students should have the opportunity to develop according to their own needs and circumstances. What emerged is the importance of a good dialogue between teacher and pupil, as well as a variety of pedagogical approaches. The results show that teachers see great benefits in having students with similar requirements in the same group but in classes where the existing skills differ, use this to something positive. My conclusion is that despite basic differences in the classes are geared to teachers to meet each student's level in order to create a work for the student that the students meet the knowledge requirements.
