This work has advanced the Nebula 3 game engine by implementing a system for including a graphical user interface in games made with the Nebula 3 engine, and an almost complete, new pipeline for creating animated characters for the engine. The graphical user interface was implemented with the third-party library CEGUI. The new pipeline works by exporting an FBX file with all the graphical data, that is then read and converted to Nebula 3 formats. The reading of the FBX file is handled with the use of Autodesks FBX SDK. The files needed by Nebula 3 consist of a file with animation data, a file with skin data and a file that binds these two together. Testing of the last file is what is still missing. The pipeline still has room for improvement.
