The aim of this paper is to validate a contingency based leadership test (TKB). In order to dothis, two already valid personality tests were used as a comparison, namely Gordon's personalityprofile inventory and NEO PI-R. Fifty-eight students from LTU, 42 women and 16 men,participated in the study. The results show promise in the majority of correlates against the twopersonality tests. One incongruent discovery was elucidated and was considered to be a resultbiased by the norm group. A suggestion for an alteration to two of the definitions of terms inthe test was made and the validity was cautiously deemed as acceptable.
