Flue gas condenser for biomass boilers

Abstract [en]

The aim of this project is to calculate the amount of heat that can be recovered with a heat exchanger that takes advatage of the heat of the stack gases to preheat the water that will heat up the buildings. Different cases are studied, changing the moisture content of the fuel and also the temperature of the water available. Hence, also dangerous particules af the gas will be collected in the exchanger since part of the steam that the gas contains will condens and be collected.
