Ulrich Becks theories of individualization and risk society has been the basic theories of the essay with the support of four scientific articles that are previous research in the study area. Seven students were interviewed to later become the basis for an outcome in the study where their perceptions and values weigh heavily. The result showed similarities and differences in the interviewees thoughts about university studies and future careers. There were clear indications that class background affects the people to some point if they are about to study or not and how early they will do it. Although the motivation for studying was varied, the choices of education and the experience of the near environment influence in the choice of university studies and future careers. In the analysis section the results are compared with relevant theories and previous research.
